For those of us in the northern hemisphere, today is the first day of summer. Naturally, many of us will pursue recreational opportunities in and around various water bodies during this season. To that end, I want to offer two pieces of advice in order to help you maximize your enjoyment while you're in the water. 1) Always swim with a buddy and 2) know how to properly use personal flotation devices. Now get out there and enjoy summer!
