Russian Ambassador to the United States Anatoly Antonov: "Let me remind you that we consider strikes on this territory as an attack on any other subject of the Russian Federation. It is important that the United States fully were aware of Russia's retaliatory measures"
Antonov also criticized discussions in the West regarding sending fighter jets to Ukraine, stating that "Washington has completely subordinated the G7 members to its own line" on the matter. He claimed that "every specialist knows that Ukraine lacks the infrastructure to operate the F-16, and the required number of pilots and maintenance personnel are also missing."
Unidentified assailants stormed communities based in the Mangu Local Government Area (LGA), Plateau State, Nigeria, early May 15. Preliminary reports indicate that up to 38 residents have been killed. Security forces have been deployed in the area, and local officials reportedly implemented a 24-hour curfew; further details regarding the curfew are unavailable.
The exact reason for the attack is unclear. Nigeria is affected by armed gangs (also called bandits) that engage in cattle rustling, looting, extortion, and kidnappings for ransom, among other criminal activities. The threat is acute in central-northern Nigeria. Disputes over access to resources, land rights issues, and related communal tensions are frequent in the middle belt and may also have prompted the violence. Communal violence often fuels rounds of reprisal attacks between various communities.

Let them have the money if they give up their US citizenship and return to their ancestral homeland - promising never to return. I'm sure there are plenty of African countries that would love to have newly minted rich citizens. How about you get a job and repay some of the katrillions that has been freely given out in welfare, food assistance, medical treatment, need I go on?)
The joint declaration noted that the new measures build on previous actions and will be expanded to "ensure that exports of all items critical to Russia's aggression, including those used by Russia on the battlefield, are restricted across all our jurisdictions." The group added that the most affected areas will be exports of industrial machinery, tools, construction, transportation, and business services.
