A notice is being sent from the VA to members of the American Federation of Government Employees regarding a settlement (with specific criteria) for those injured by the COVID-19 vaccine who were unable to work as a result.
1. You received a dose of the COVID-19 vaccination, including booster shots, between December 11, 2020, to July 27, 2021.
2. You experienced an adverse reaction to the COVID-19 vaccine.
3. You were incapacitated to work for the two (2) consecutive work days immediately following the date you received the vaccination.
4. You took leave as a result of your incapacitation to work.
