IRELAND'S HATE OFFENSES BILL HAS NO PLACE IN A CONSTITUTIONAL DEMOCRACY
Under the proposed Hate Offenses Bill:
? you can be imprisoned for unpublished speech that might incite "hatred"
?private institutions will be required to police members' speech
This is a law where anyone can be prosecuted on trumped-up charges IF somebody FEELS they were about to incite hate. It is an Orwellian piece of legislation.
