Aegean Islands Dispute: Erdogan Threatens Greece with Escalation

Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has warned Greece against "further arming" Greek islands in the eastern Aegean Sea. Athens should "avoid dreams, statements and actions it would regret" Erdogan said Thursday during military exercises on the western Turkish coast involving NATO allies. "Get a grip (...) I am not joking", Erdogan said. Such actions by Athens could "have disastrous consequences".
